- Description
- This is not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but Market Research to identify sources that can fulfill the requirements for the Aircraft Systems Engineering Support (ASES) contract. ASES is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for C-130 & C-141 Aircraft Engineering Services, and is the follow-on contract for the Electrical/Avionics Systems Engineering Support (EASES) contract. ASES has expanded the scope of the EASES contract, to include the procurement of electrical, avionics, mechanical, and aeronautics engineering support to augment the engineering expertise already residing in the separate Product Directorates in the Warner Robins Air Logistic Center. The basic contracts will include no specific tasks. Specific tasks will be assigned through individual delivery orders. Each individual delivery order will include a number of tasks, which make up a project. Seven project types are anticipated: 1) engineering support for modification programs, 2) independent studies and analyses, 3) engineering for special modification programs, 4) engineering support for test programs, and 5) engineering support for the production of C130 aircraft, 6) software support for existing programs, and 7) Functional Check Flight Support. The projects will require knowledge, skills, and experience at every level of expertise. Each individual delivery order will tailor these objectives to the specific project. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 541330 ($20M Annual Receipts). Whether your company is registered in Central Contractor Registration (Yes or No); and 14. A statement as to whether your company is domestically or foreign owned (if foreign, please indicate the country of ownership). Responding to this notice may not necessarily result in your company being able to participate in the solicitation due to level of security clearances and amount of foreign participation. This notice does not constitute an invitation for bid or request for proposal and should not construed as a commitment by the Government.
