Description

The Government anticipates entering into a sole source procurement with McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, an Indirect Subsidiary of The Boeing Company, 1112, M510/A386, 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ 85215-9797, to acquire, on an other than full and open competitive basis, logistical and technical support, by the assignment of Contractor Field Service Representatives (CFSRs) on location, of the AH-64A APACHE aircraft systems and components at various U.S. Army installations in the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The period of performance is a twelve (12) month contract (1 Oct 01 30 Sep 02). This requirement is under the authority and justification of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) based on the determinat ion that the Government needs can only be satisfied by one source. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22.
