Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Philadelphia Detachment intends to acquire, on a full and open best val ue competitive basis, maintenance services for the Electronic Security Systems at the Naval Inventory Control Point Compound in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The services will be procured as commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. The p eriod of performance will be from 1 January 2002 through 30 September 2002, plus four (4) 12 month option periods. Due to t he size of the equipment list, it will be provided with the RFP. The proposed RFP will be issued on or about 5 September 20 01. The intended solicitation period will be 15 days. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will result from t he solicitation. Interested parties can obtain a copy of Request for Proposal (RFP), N00140-01-R-3854, for this requirement at the internet site, www.neco.navy.mil.
