Description

Syracuse VA Medical Center has need for a responsible , qualified firm with the capacity and capability to perform conversion of three Trane 750 ton chillers from R-11 refrigerant to HCFC 123. Chillers are located at, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210. Contractor shall be required to complete phase 1 by April 15, 2002 and Phase 2 and 3 shall begin October 15, 2002. There will be an upfront 30 day submittal period and 75 days for each phase. This is full and open competition as required under the small business competitiveness demonstration program. Estimated cost of project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code is 235110 and Small Business size standard is $11.5 Mil. Firms must be capable of submitting Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds. Solicitation should be available on or about August 20, 2001. . Attendance at a pre-bid job walk tentatively scheduled for September 10, 2001 at 10:00 am is considered essential. Only written requests for the bidding package will be accepted, telephone requests will not be honored.
