- DESC: SUPPLY AND DELIVER GRASS SEED SOL IDAWY-98-01 DUE 091401 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # IDAWY-98-01 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The NAICS Code is 111910. Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Item 01 6,600 lbs of pure live seed/ noxious weed free grass seed of bluebunch wheatgrass (Agropryon spicatum), delivered and off-loaded at Challis, Idaho. Seed shall be bagged in 50-80 lb bags. If bags are delivered on pallets, the Forest Service will provide a forklift and operator to unload. Seed must be tested prior to delivery for all states noxious weeds according to AOSA standards and certified, in writing, by a Registered Seed Technologist or Analyst as per applicable Federal and State laws. Delivery is required during business hours of 0800-1500, Monday-Friday, with 2 days prior notice. Provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with their offer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: price and past experience,. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
