Description

The Government seeks offerors to assume ownership, operation, and maintenance of the electric utility infrastructures at the Fort Leonard Wood Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area (LORA). The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, management, supervision, permits, equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, and any other incidential services for the complete ownership, operation, maintenance, repair, upgrades, and improvements to these utility systems. The contractor shall be responsible for finding all capital investments required to acquire, maintain and operate the LORA electric distribution system in a safe, reliable condition and to meet established requirements. The contract period of performance is fifty (50) years from the performance start date. It is anticipated a solicitation will be issued by 27 September 2001. The date for receipt of proposals has not been established. Solicitations will be provided in response to written requests only.
