71 -- Furniture -- The Department of Justice (DOJ), intends to issue a purchase order on a sole-source basis using Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13, to Media Recovery, for the following-NetComEX Preconfigured 25"Wide-1-Level High, 2 each -- NetComEX Preconfigured 48"Wide-1-Level High, 3 each -- NetComEX Preconfigured 45 Deg. Corner-1-Level, 4 each -- NetComEX Preconfigured 72"Wide-2-Level, 3 each -- NetComEX Preconfigured 48"Wide-2-Level, 2 each -- NetComEX Preconfigured 45 Deg. Corner-2-Level, 4 each -- NetComEX 72"Wide 1st level Base Unit, 1 each -- NetComEX 48" Wide Finished 2nd Level Unit, 1 each -- 48" Wide Base Level Vented Doors, 1 each -- 48" Roll-out Shelf, 1 each -- 48" Wide Removable Worksurface, 1 each -- 1st & 2nd Lev Large Monitor Door, 1 each. Any responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be submitted to the address shown in Item 7 by COB August 21, 2001.
