Description

Solicitation N00421-01-Q-0525 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a sole source basis with APW Wright Line, LLC, 160 Gold Star Blvd., Worcester, MA 01606 for 1 lot of Modular System Equipment. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 6.3. This equipment is for use as integration to an existing system for the Network Operations Center (NOC) at Quantico, VA. This system was designed and developed by APW Wright Line, LLC for specific implementation at the NOC. Award is expected 28 August 2001. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all quotes received by 24 August 2001 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
