Description

NASA/GSFC plans to reissue a solicitation for the competition of Class 10 and Class 12 for the Scientific and Engineering Workstation Procurement (SEWP III). Class 10 and Class 12 were originally solicited under RFP5-51953-026, and subsequently canceled. The Class 10 requirement is for Computer Support Devices, and the Class 12 requirement is for Security System Tools. Both of these classes are small business set-a-sides. See Note 1 It is anticipated that one or more commercial (under Part 12) IDIQ contracts for each class (Class 10 and Class 12) will be awarded. The NAICS is 421430, and the size standard is 500. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The anticipated date to reissue the solicitation is on or about August 30, 2001. Potential offerors may register their interest in participation in the Class 10 and Class 12 competitions at the SEWP III website http://sewpiii.sewp.nasa.gov. Previous registrants at this website must re-registered for this recompetition of Class 10 and Class 12. All interested parties are requested to register by August 30, 2001. Registered parties will receive automatic email notification of announcements and of the release of all documents for this procurement. Prior to the due date of proposals, a conference will be held for small business offerors. Additional information about the date, time, location and registration process for this conference will be posted on the on the World-Wide Wed (WWW) at the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS), the Commerce Business Daily CBDNet and SEWP III web: http://sewpiii.sewp.nasa.gov. Announcements for the Class 10 and Class 12 competitions (RFP5-CL10/12-51953-026) will be posted on the on the World-Wide Wed (WWW) at the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS), the Commerce Business Daily CBDNet and SEWP III web: http://sewpiii.sewp.nasa.gov.
