This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number MDA946-01-T-0113 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circ ular _27_. (iv) This is a 100% small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 334112 and a small business size standard of 1000. (v) See(i)for contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure. (vi) See aforementioned list for description of requirements for the items to be acquired. (vii) Items are required to be delivered FOB: Destination with MONTHLY DELIVERY DATES; Starting 09/04/01 at WASHINGTON, DC, 20301-1155. If delivered items are not shipped via a courier -- FedEx/UPS, the delivery point should be the Property Managem ent Branch, Room 3B200, PENTAGON BLDG, WASHINGTON, D.C. 20301-1155. (viii) The FAR provision at 52.212-1, entitled: "Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial", applies to this acquisition. (ix) The FAR provision at 52.212-2, entitled: "Evaluation -- Commercial Items" is not included. The Government intends to eva luate quotes and award a contract without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussion if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any or all quotes if such action is in the public interest; accept other than the lowest quote; and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers recei ved. (x) To be considered responsive, Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, entitled: "Offer or Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items", with their submitted offer. (xi) FAR clause 52.212-4, entitled: "Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items", applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR clause 52.212-5, entitled: "Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Com mercial Items", applicable clauses: FAR 52.219-8, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-47, DFARS 252.205-7000, DFARS 252.212-7001 (xiii) In addition to the aforementioned provisions and clauses, it is imperative to note that all contractors must comply w ith the terms and conditions of DFARS Clause 252.204-7004, entitled: "Required Central Contractor Registration".
