Description

This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Solicitation N00104-01-Q-Q578 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition and is set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7372 with a size standard, averaged over a one-year period of $18,000,000. NAVICP intends to procure SYMANTEC software listed below. Said software is to be purchased for and shipped to FLEET MATERIAL SUPPORT OFFICE, MECHANICSBURG located in Mechanicsburg, PA; software will be used at the sites stated below. Offers should state CAGE and / or DUNS, REMIT TO address, and delivery time, FOB Destination. Price and delivery time will be selection factors. Delivery by 8/31/01 is HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
