Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island, intends to award an "M" type Supply Purchase Order with Firm Fixed Price Provisions to Marway Power Systems, 1838 N. Case Street, Orange, California 92865, on a Sole Source basis pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source under FAR Part 12. Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), to obtain: (1) QTY of Two Marway 411261, 120/208VAC 225A, 50-60 Hz 3PH Power Distribution Core; and (2) QTY of Two Marway 411262, 120/208VAC 50A/P, 50-60 Hz, 3PH, Power Distribution Units. Award is sole source because of compatibility requirements. An oral solicitation will be requested around 8/31/01. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination, Keyport, Washington 98345. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 335311, Standard size is 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
