Description

The above referenced solicitation is corrected to read: Dockside repair to NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV -to be performed at the Northeast Marine Support Facility in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Performance period to commence on or about November 19, 2001, and shall be completed on or before January 04, 2002 (47 calendar days). Basic contract items include Brominator Installation; Winch Overhaul; Fuel Oil Transfer Pump Replacement; Reduction Gear Beaing Replacement; Watertight Door Replacement, and others. In addition, there will be option items; Duty Cabin Asbestos Removal; Generator Governor/ Loading Sharing Upgrade;and Resuce Boat Lighting Installation. NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV will be available for inspection on August 31, 2001, at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, woods Hole, MA. Characteristics of NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV: Length Overall-187 feet; Beam (molded) -- 33 feet; draft -- 16 feet; Propulsion -- Single screw, CPP, CAT D379 diesels; Electrical System -- 2 CAT SSDG's 215 KW 440VAC, 3 Phase; All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
