Description

This is a modification to a previous pre-solicitation notice. This is the second modification issued. Most recent modification was posted as Cite W-208 SN50T1F0 posted 27 July 2001. Original notice was posted 18 July 2001 as Cite W-199 SN50S253. Two NSNs: 1680-01-474-8087 (Lockheed Martin P/N 16P1801-879 REV CS AL/PL REV EF) and 1680-01-474-8088 (Lockheed Martin P/N 16P1801-897 REV CS AL/PL REV EF). List of approved sources has changed. Four sources (Control Products Corp, Luminescent Systems Inc, Richard Mfg Co and Interconnect Wiring Inc) were originally listed as approved sources "by mistake" per DSCR-JUT and ESA. These four sources are NOT approved sources of supply and would have to submit Source Approval Request packages for evaluation in order to become approved for one or both NSNs. Mason Electric Co (CAGE 81579) has been added as an approved source of supply by DSCR-JUT and ESA. There are only two approved sources of supply for these items: Lockheed Martin Corp and Mason Electric Co. Any other manufacturer would need to submit a complete Source Approval Request package for evaluation in order to be considered for award (see FAR 52.217-9002 and 52.217-9G04). Acquisition is no longer set-aside for small businesses as there is only one approved small business manufacturer. Acquisition is unrestricted. Amendment 0001 will be released along with original solicitation on 23 Aug 2001 with a due date of 24 Sept 2001.
