Description

The U.S. Securities and Exhange Commission intends to issue a sole source contract to Lipton Corporate Child Care Center, Inc. located at 655 15th Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20006 for emergency child care services. The center will provide childcare when arrangements are not available from the employee's regular caregiver. The childcare center shall provide a safe and secure environment that is in compliance with Federal laws and regulations and local licensing regulations, governing their operation. Proper staff must be maintained that are trained to care for children who are 3 months to 12 years old, on an as needed basis, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. The center shall ensure that SEC employees will be given the ability to purchase spaces on a priority basis. The center shall also ensure a low cost, or user fee of approximately $25 per child per day. The period of performance is September 1, 2001 through August 31, 2002. See Note 22.
