- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA intends to procure, on a non-competitive basis, VME-3U Central Processing Units (CPU) Circuit Cards from PEP Modular Computers, Inc., Pittsburg, PA. The action is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. PEP Modular Computers, Inc., is the only source for VME-3U Central Processing Unit Circuit Cards that have been integrated into a Government designed, fabricated and EMI qualified ECM/EA Technique Generator. The ECM/EA Technique Generator operates on Government developed software. It is anticipated that this contract will be awarded during the period 01 DEC 2001 through 28 FEB 2002. It is planned to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Delivery Order 0001 being issued concurrent with award. Delivery Order 0001 will meet the contract's minimum order requirements. Delivery orders will be issued for a five-year period with pricing based on 5 one year ordering periods. Pricing of the VME-3U Central Processing Units Circuit Cards will be on a fixed price basis. Total contract quantities for the VME-3U Central Processing Units Circuit Cards are 100 each IDIQ Production Units and 1 lot Technical Data for each of the five ordering periods. Delivery of all VME-3U Central Processing Units Circuit Cards shall be FOB destination to Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA 93042. Delivery shall be at a minimum rate of 20 each per month to commence no later than 120 days after issuance of Delivery Order. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this synopsis, other than PEP Modular Computers, Inc., shall be submitted in writing no later than 15 days from the publication of this synopsis and shall provide sufficient technical information to permit agency personnel to establish a bonafide capability to deliver VME-3U Central Processing Units (CPU) Circuit Cards that have been integrated into a Government designed, fabricated and EMI qualified ECM/EA Technique Generator and that will operate on existing Government developed software. Subsequently, respondents shall submit a complete cost and technical proposal within 45 days from the publication of this synopsis.
