Description

The Command and Control Engineering Center (C2CEN), USCG intends to purchase on a non-competitive basis with Zetron, Redmond, WA a commercial-off-the shelf CFEE-M4020 Radio Dispatch System. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13. This proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice received would normally be considered, solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is for a Zetron model CFEE-M4020 Radio Dispatch System. The system is comprised of: CFEE-M4217NT Single Operator Position; CFEE-M4020 Common Control Equipment. The specific components are as follows:901-9569 Operator PC (NT) 5 each; 400-0205 CRT Base Mount 5 each; 950-9447 Trackball 5 each; 950-9327 Headset Jackbox 5 each; 950-9208 Secondary Jackbox 5 each; 950-9102 Footswitch 5 each; 901-9582 4020 Console 1 each; 950-9693 Dual Power Supply 2 each; 950-9820 Dual Channel Card 7 each; 950-9692 System Traffic Card 2 each; 950-9695 Console Card 6 each; R11 Instant Recall Recorder 7 each; 950-9951 S400 Dual Channel Memory 7 each. The equipment is to be delivered to USCG, Portsmouth, VA 23703. The NAICS code is 334511. Small business firms that are interested in proposing on this requirement must respond in writing no later than 15 days from the date of this publication. Small Business firms must provide a system that would perform within the same parameters as the specified equipment. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
