Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends award sole source Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract N00024-01-C-4131 to Raytheon Company, Naval & Maritime Integrated Systems (N&MIS) Division of 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871-1087 for the production of a minimum of ten and a maximum of eighty AN/SPS-73(V) Radar Systems plus Ancillary Equipment, Field Change 1 for Shock Upgrade, First Article Test, Financial & Technical Data, Provision Items, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Technical Manuals, Training Data, Software Data, Installation Control Data (ICD) and Test Data over a one year ordering period. The planned contract is to cover requirements for the US Navy and US Coast Guard with potential configurations of (V), (V)1, (V)2, (V)3, (V)4, (V)5, (V)6, (V)7, (V)8, (V)9, (V)11, (V)12, (V)13, (V)14, (V)15, and (V)16. The basic contract is to contain an option clause which shall provide for four additional one year ordering periods that is to replicate the base year ordering requirements less Field Change 1, First Article Test, ICD and Test Data requirements. Raytheon is the original designer, developer, and sole producer of all the AN/SPS-73(V) Radar System configurations. This new contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1).
