Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F34601-01-M-49571. The solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). Closing date for quotations will be received at the issuing office until 3:00 PM on 27 Aug 2001. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 (FAC). This a requirement for Line Item 0001; NSN: 8145-01-221-3624JV; Qty 13 ea, P/N: 6870436: Function; Steel container used to store and ship the T56 turbine module; has two handle for lifting top from bottom; eight bolts attaches top portion to bottom. Size/Dimensions: Width: Approximate 3 ft, Height: Approximate 4 ft. Predominant material of manufacture: steel. New/Unused Government and Commercial surplus may be acceptable. Remarks: Parts that are new/used government and commercial surplus showing no signs of rust or evidence of on dissemble or re-assembly or reconditioning in any manner are acceptably and must be in original packaging with the actual manufactures parts number, and FSCM must be visible on part.
