Description

The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Air Force Association pursuant to Far 13.5, for the rental of exhibit space. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with Far 13.106(c)(i), as amended. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.. STATEMENT OF NEED (SON): Rental of exhibit spaces at the AFA National Convention, held 17-19 Sep 01 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington D.C. 21 Spaces are 8?x10?each. 1,680 square feet. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The contractor shall furnish all labor, personnel, equipment supervision and other equipment necessary to perform and complete the requirement.
