- Description
- The Federal Trade Commission has a requirement for a Contractor to conduct a study to assess consumers "take away" of advertising messages when they are exposed to certain types of advertising. In addition, the study will explore whether consumer perceptions are affected by the type of service or product being advertised, design of the message, and wording of accompanying disclosures. A shopping mall-intercept methodology will be used for data collection. The design is a 3 product (products) by 3 (messages) by 4 (disclosures) factorial. In addition, there will be six control cells that are other versions of ads for each of the three products (two ads per product). Thus, the desing consists of 42 cells. At 30 respondents per cell, the total number of required completed interviews is 1,260. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued August 20, 2001 and closing August 31, 2001. Anticipated delivery is November 30, 2001. Only written requests for a solicitation package will be honored. Fax request to: (202) 326-3529, Attn: Eric Vogt.
