Description

Design, mnufacture, and erect a boom rest to support the boom of an Americian Clyde, Rail Guided, 75 Ton Gantry crane, Model 28-DE-110-15, in a horizontal position for inspection, and maintenance/repairs of components of the boom. Components include main hoist and auxiliary hoist wire ropes, drop block limit switches for both main fall and auxiliary fall, main fall load cell transducers and main load fall upper shaves. The design of the boom rest shall be prepared by a registered professional engieer and be in accorance with American Institute of Stee Construction (AISC) manual of Steel Construction.
