Description

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Bloomberg's L.P., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Their financial data terminals are the only known financial data terminals that are capable of providing the necessary content and analytical power needed to access the companies, government, bonds, currencies, markets, ratings, news and commentary needed in critical aspects of program operation for EXIM Bank. The period of subscription is from 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002 with two (2) subsequent option years . This acquisition is under NAICS 514199. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparable source is available, a sole source award will be negotiated. Responses must be received, in writing, within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to respond to the requirements. Responses must be in writing. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
