Description

8-1/2" x 11" white, non-recycled copy paper, 20#, (10 reams per box, 500 sheets per ream). The quantity required is 2000 boxes. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be provided. A written solcitation will not be issued and any requests for a solicitation package will not be acknoweledged. This synopsis shall serve as Request for Quotations number PSMD-01-C-07 which seeks written proposals for 2000 boxes of 8-1/2" x 11" white, non-recycled copy paper. Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. CST. August 27, 2001. This synopsis and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition will be processed using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Proposals received in response to this notice will be considered for award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall cost to the Government. Questions relating to this notice shall be submitted in writing no later than August 20, 2001 and sent via facsimile. Answers will be provided in writing via facsimile before time for proposals expires. This procurement is set aside for small business. The small business standard is under SIC code 5112, which is 100 employees or less. The following provisions/clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (OCT 2000), FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEM (JAN 2001), 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (MAY 2001), 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (MAY 2001). A compleded copy of provision 52.212-3 shall be submitted with proposal to be considered for award.
