Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER. This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informatio n included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation -- a written solicitation will not be issued. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number DASC01-0211-N295. Headquarters, US Army Intelligence & Security Comma nd, Fort Belvoir, VA. is soliciting a sole source commercial-item purchase order (under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5) with Metastorm, Severna Park, Maryland. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. This action is for the purchase of e-Works by Metastorm, software, maintenance, training and consulting support. Item 0001: Prod e_work 5.x Client License, Qu antity: 625 Each; Item 0002: Prod: e-work 5.x Server License, Quantity: 5 Each; Item 0003: Prod: e-mail Client Integration, Quantity: 625 Each; Item 0004: Prod: e-work Annual Maintenance, Quantity: 1 Each.; Item 0005: Prod: e-work Annual Product S upport, Quantity: 1 Each; Item 0006: e-work V5 Designer Training, Quantity: 1 Each; Item 0007: e-work V5 Consulting Services, Quantity: 160 Hours. Delivery to 8825 BEULAH ST., FT. BELVOIR, VA, 22060-5246. Duration: 8/20/2001 through 8/19/2002. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04.
