Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-00-Q-5838. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334113; size standard is 1,000 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following item: 0001; Windows 2000 Terminal Server CALS, PN C79-00539, quantity 750. Required delivery is 2 weeks days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order on 31 AUG 2001with Atrion Networking Corporation, Warwick, RI. They are the only known source for these items because of proprietary software licenses. All other timely offers will be considered.
