DESC: THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE SOLE SOURCE REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) issued to Canadian Commercial Corporation, 50 O'Connor Street, Ottawa Ontario, Canada and Interactive Visualization Systems, Inc. (IVS), Incutech Build, UNB Campus, P O Box 69000, Frederictoion, NB Canada E3B 6C2 for the FLEDERMAUS SUITE OF INTEROPERABLE MULTI-BEAM SONAR AND IMAGERY TOOLS IN CD-ROM MEDIA INTERACTIVE VISUALIZATION AND EDITING SOFTWARE SUITE 3-D BATHYMETRIC. The amendment shall be acknowledged. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject Sole Source synopsis/RFQ. The purpose of this amendment is to make corrections to quantity errors noted after issuance of the RFQ wherein item 0005 and 0007 quantities were reversed and add technical engineering support type services associated with the capability to meet International Hydrographic Office (IHO) Standards for Hydrographic Surveys in those cases where there is insufficient time or platform resources available for acquiring 100% bottom coverage. In those cases where 100% of the bottom cannot be surveyed, the IHO requires that line spacing and the associated bottom coverage must as a minimum meet the standards listed by Special Publication No. 44 (4th Edition), Table 1 (Summary of Minimum Standards for Hydrographic Surveys) and Table 3 (Bottom Model Accuracy). A software module is required that determines whether or not the line spacing meets the S-44 criteria based upon the Survey Order, depth of the water, survey swath coverage from main development lines and cross-check lines, and IHO bottom model criteria.
