Description

The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement to conduct inspections, perform periodic maintenance and emergency call back repair on guyed and free-standing towers located throughout the Eastern Region. The Eastern Region consists of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia and Washington DC. This requirement for service is estimated to begin on/or about September 1, 2001 thru September 30, 2001 with four (4) one-year option periods. This Screening Information Requests (SIR) is 100% set-aside for small businesses under North American Industry Classification Sysem Code 235910. Multiple awards may be considered. Evaluation of proposals to this Screening Information Request (SIR) will rely heavily on Past Performance. All responses to SIR's due August 28, 2001. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or "Best Buy" offer. Therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest offer. Companies that meet the Small Business Size Standard qualification should submit a letter of interest to the FAA, 1 Aviation Plaza, Jamaica, New York 11434, Attn: Nadene C. Fontano. Facimiles will also be accepted at (718) 995-5685. All letters must be received by August 15, 2001. Letters received after that date will not receive a response from the Government.
