Description

ADDING ADDITIONAL OPTION YEAR TO CURRENT FACILITIES MANAGEMENT CONTRACT WITH COMPUTER SCIENCES CORPORATION. CMS (FORM ERLY KNOWN AS HCFA)is initiating a major procurement to consolidate their information technology infrastructure vendors. CM S is making a fundamental change to their current Information Technology Infrastructure contract. As a result, the current facilities management contract must be extended up to one (1) year to allow for the competitive procurement to be completed. As a result $20 million dollars and up to one (1) year will be added to the existing contract. If no affirmative written documentation is received within (15) calendar days of this synopsis, CMS will proceed with negotiations to issue a contract modification to Computer Sciences Corporation.
