Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price Contract to AIL Systems in Deer Park, NY for Engineering Software Support Services, Hardware and Training of Government Personnel to "Stand Up" a Software Support Activity at NAWCWD-Pt. Mugu to provide support for the AN/ALQ-99 Universal Exciter Upgrade (UEU). The UEU is a pod mounted source of radar and communication RF jamming waveforms for use aboard the EA-6B Aircraft. EDO has developed, produced and maintained the UEU throughout the production period and has maintained the necessary software configuration procedures, documentation and information to provide the Naval Activity the required knowledge to address future software modifications, operational problems or implement performance improvements to the UEU.
