Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is HAQ012099 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332311, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This procurement is set aside for small business concerns. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Furnish all supplies, materials, and labor to supply and install a 28-foot wide by 36-long by 12-foot eve height pre-engineered steel frame building for storage of electronic and radio equipment. Install the building on a standard concrete foundation. A four-inch concrete floor slab is required. Building, foundation, and concrete slab shall meet all requirements of the Uniform Building Code. On-site work may be performed between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, or as approved by the Government. Roof pitch shall be 4:12. Factory painted roof, siding, and trim. Roof and trim shall be white. Siding color shall be beige. The Government will select colors from Contractor-provided color samples. Metal thickness shall be a minimum of 26 gauge. Provide shop drawings, prior to beginning any work, showing all details of the structure for government approval. Structure and foundation drawings shall be stamped with a professional engineers stamp. PACKAGING AND MARKING: The items shall be prepared for shipment consistent with standard commercial practice and in a manner that will ensure transportation and/or delivery to the user in a satisfactory condition and be acceptable to the carrier for safe transportation. The Contractor may use its own practice providing it fulfills these requirements. DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE: Deliver FOB Destination within 75 days after contract award to the Bureau of Land Management, Lakeview Interagency Shop, 1000 South 9th Street, Lakeview, Oregon. Consignee shall be notified a least two (2) working days prior to delivery. Delivery shall be made between 8:00 and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. Inspection will be accomplished and acceptance will be made upon the Government's determination the pre-engineered steel frame building meets the requirements of these specifications. Quotation shall include the price for the Contractor furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide a pre-engineered steel frame building in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications herein.
