Description

Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment & supervision required to complete "Restore Exteriors" , Project 649-01-03, at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System, Prescott, AZ. Project involves the preparation and repainting of the exteriors of six buildings -- Bldgs.16, 17, 19, 20, 22 & 42. Buildings range in age from 91 to 98 years old. All six of these buildings have been tested and determined to contain lead based paint in varying quantities. All required surface preparation shall be done in accordance with lead based paint removal specifications included in the contract documents. Additionally, some misc. repairs to exterior wood components, as well as the replacement of roofing shingles on B22 is included in the scope of work. Construction cost range is $250,000 -- $500,000. NAICS 235210 & 11.5 million. Bidding material will be available 8-27-01. All requests for bid documents must be in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer (142k). Requests must be on company letterhead to include a point of contact and telephone/fax numbers. Fax requests will be accepted on 928 717 7444. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit is scheduled for Sept. 11, 2001, 1:00PM, Building 14, 2nd Floor Conference Room 222. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend to realize the extent of Building deterioration. Bid Opening Date: September 26, 1:00PM, Building 14, 2nd Floor Conference Room 222. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
