Description

Construct Rock Climbing Wall, NAS Whiting MWR. Quantity: 1 Lump Sum. ; Extended Description: Provide all labor, supervision, material and equipment necessary to construct Rock Climbing Wall Building 3002, MWR Facility NAS Whiting Field, Milton FL per statement of work to be provided with solicitation which will be issued within 15 days. Contractor shall convert Racquetball courts into 12 station climbing wall that will accommodate up to 28 climbers. Existing building is 20' wide, 40' long, and 20' high. Wall is to feature a variety of climbing terrain including advanced lead climbing and bouldering. Contractor is to provide Navy personnel training on maintenance of the wall and climbing safety. All components shall fit through existing door openings. Award Procedures follow: Low price. Anticipated award date: 21 Sep 01. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered.
