Description

Please replace original synopsis/Solication sentences with the following sentences for the purpose of clarification. All other information remains unchanged. The elevators referenced in this solicitation shall be maintained to comply with all requirements of current American National Standard Safety Code for Elevators, Dumbwaiters, Escalators, and Moving Sidewalks (hereinafter referred to as A17.1 Code) ASE Inspectors Manual and all other applicable laws, regulations, ordnances, codes, etc. Should major repairs or adjustments be required constituting down time in excess of 4 (four) hours, the Contracting Officers Representative may require the Contractor to perform the work before or after operating hours, as to avoid conflicts with scheduled cavern tours.
