Description

Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to perform work for the project entitled "Annual Inspection of the Complete Diesel Engineering Generators" at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Work includes but is not limited to the annual inspection of the diesel generators along with checking the switchgears for each generator in accordance with current NFPA 99 and NFPA 100 testing and maintenance activities. Inspection shall include, but is not limited to, assessing the prime mover's exhaust gas temperature against a minimum temperature recommended by the manufacturer. The period of this contract will be 10-01-01 through 9-30-02. The NAICS Code is 811310. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. Estimated solicitation issue date is O/August 22, 2001. A pre-bid conference will be held, and date will be indicated within the solicitation. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Solicitation packages will be limited to the first 25 requestors.
