Description

The Export-Import Bank of the US intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, MDB & Associates, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the renewal of support services for the HRIS Software program. This program was developed by MDB & Associates and they have the proprietary rights to the software /codes. This program is an interface from the Human Resource Division to GSA payroll. Numerous small and large enhancements have been incorporated into the existing system over the years. In order to keep the program running as well as incorporating the latest OPM changes requires an in-depth knowledge. Service will cover the period of 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. This acquisition is under NAICS 541511. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparable source is available, a sole source will be negotiated. Responses must be received, in writing, within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to respond to the requirements. Responses must be in writing. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
