Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. THIS NOTICE IS THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F7PCON11341100 is an unrestricted solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Keesler AFB intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract for the period 1 Oct 01 -- 30 Sep 02 to provide the following software support to the Keesler Medical Center: Ovid On-line Access pkg#12 to include Medline (includes pre-medline, Aidsline, Bioethiesline) 12 users; Healthstar- 8 users; Cancerlit -8 users; Ovid's Core Biomedical Collection (includes 15 Essential Full Text Biomedical Journals)-3 users; Biomedical Collection II- 3 users; Biomedical Collection III -- 3 users; Biomedical Collection IV -3 users; Ovid's Full Text Mental Health Collection, ( a collection of 10 Essential Full Text Psychiatry and Psychology Journals) -3 users; Ovid's Nursing Collection ( a Collection of 14 Essential Full Text Nursing Journals)-3 users. The NAICS Code is 514191 and the small business standard is $18 million. This is a DO rated order with a priority identification symbol of C9E. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is amended to read: submit signed and dated offer on Company Letterhead to 81 CONS/LGCB , 310 M Street, Room 102, Keesler AFB MS 39534-2147 on or before 1530(3:30pm) CST 15Aug 01. Quotation may be submitted via FAX (228) 377-3298 or e-mail to Dorothy.salter@keesler.af.mil Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 -- Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference with the following addenda: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Deviation) and DFARS 252.212-7001(Deviation)are incorporated, however for paragraph (b), only the following clauses apply: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era and FAR 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities.
