Description

Thorguard L-150 Computer with Sensor 1EA. VOT Base Transmitter & Horn Cluster 1ea. VOT Remote Receiver & Horn Cluster 6ea. Solar Panel for remote horn clusters 6ea. Mounting Hardware/Masts/Tripods 8ea. Uninterruptable power source (UPS) 1ea. Installation 1ea. Site Visit shall be required for accurate quoting. Contractors shall contact the buyer for site visit (date and time) and Performance Specification. Contractors shall quote brand name THOR GUARD Model L150 or equal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation -- Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items). IAW clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors and conformance to performance specificaton. Oral Procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations may be faxed to (912)926-3569. The approx. issue/response date is 28 Aug 2001 The anticipated award will be 29 Aug 2001. All contractors have to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to receive a Government award.
