Description

This is a Notice of Intent from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland. NAWCAD intends to issue a modification on an other than full and open competition basis to existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00421-00-G-0143, delivery order 0001 with Rockwell Collins, Inc., 400 Collins Road, NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498 for four (4) Production Display Interface Units (DIU). The DIU provides data conversion of MIDSCO Multifunction Informational Distribution System (MIDS) TACAN data into a format compatible for display on the P-3 Electronic Flight Data Display System (EFDS) and to provide a means for the existing P-3 ARN-118 TACAN control panel to interface with the MIDS TACAN. The DIU is required to provide a means of switching between Terrain Avoidance Warning System (TAWS) data and Weather Radar System (WXR) data.
