Description

The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, Yuma Contracting Division intends to negotiate on an other than full and open basis with the Directorate of Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) , a Non-appropriated Fund Activity (NAF) for the main tenance and repair of bowling equipment. The proposed contract is a base year with four (4) one-year option periods. In accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) the contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to perf orm all work of Bowing Center Maintenance, Repair and Operations Services at USAYPG. This requirement is being sought on a sole source basis as USAYPG s bowling center in located in a remote location, 26 miles north east of the city of Yuma, Arizona, and is operated by the MWR activity. It is estimated that only 20 hours of on-site work per week is required for performance of these services. Pursuant to FAR Parts 12 & 13 this acquisition will be issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) fo r a commercial item. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 1799/North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 23599 ($11.5 Million in average annual receipts). Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and cap ability to perform the requirement by submitting a proposal in writing. Proposals shall include complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number and business size. See Note 22.
