Description

The Department of State intends to modify an existing contract with ITT Systems, a Division of ITT Industries, 1460 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80907 to add on-site repair and maintenance of the ARCS-M (Automated Reproduction and Collating System -- Modernized) System to the Statement of Work under contract S-LMAQM-00-C-0132. ITT will provide on-site maintenance for the ARCS-M equipment which will be identical in configuration and hardware to the AMAPS (Automated Message Acceptance and Protocol Server) and SAMS/R (State Automated Messaging System/Relay) equipment, maintained by ITT Systems under the current contract. The contractor will also expand the current ARCS software interface to include elements of code already existing as part of the AMAPS and SAMS/R software, maintained by ITT Systems under the current contract. The change to the Statement of Work will be for the first option period of the basic contract, with an additional three option years. All responsible sources shall respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information and other technical information literature demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement. No telephone requests will be honored. Failure to submit documentation will result in the Government proceeding with negotiations with ITT Systems on a sole source basis. See Numbered Note 22.
