Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a modification of the July 20, 2001, Presolicitation Notice. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, Maryland, has a requirement for a contractor to supply and install a new compressor sys tem. The work involves phased demolition of three (3) reciprocating units and the purchase, delivery and installation of fou r (4) new air compressors to tie into existing system located in Building 302. The period of performance is 10 months after award of contract. The NAICS Code is 333912. See Numbered Note 26. Award of contract is subject to FAR Clause 52.232-18, Ava ilability of Funds (Apr 1984). Contract award will be made on the basis of the best value to the Government with price, tech nical and past performance factors considered. Solicitation requests are required in writing and may be telefaxed to (301) 9 63-7732. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. ****
