Description
The work consists of furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment to install the following: (a) Replace the existing boat launch pier with a new Coastal Patrol Boat (CPB) pier; (b) modify existing boathouse pier utility systems for new CPB; (c) renovate existing boathouse pier storage loft; (d) replace existing diesel fuel tank with new 6000 gallon fuel tank. The work is located at USCG Station Gulfport, Mississippi. Request for a bid package must be submitted in writing. You can fax your request to 305-278-6696. Bid quarantee, payment and performance bonds are required. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both small and large businesses participation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by this agency. Those who previously requested under the Presolicitation Notice dated, 5 June 2001, do not need to request again. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990 with a three-year average annual receipts, small business size standard of $27.5 million. The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
