Description

Project 502-01-104. Furnish all labor, material and equipment to correct patient accessibility, Phase 1, by constructing concrete parking lots and sidewalks at VA Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. This procurement is reserved for Hub-zone small business concerns. Offers from other than Hub-zone small business concerns will not be considered, see Note No. 27. Work includes but not limited to converting existing gravel to concrete parking lots consisting of 194 parking spaces and adding connecting sidewalks which includes tree removal, concrete containment walls, surface drainage and lighting. Cost range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Completion time 210 calendar days. 90 calendar day bid acceptance period required, subject to availability of funds. Bid documents will be made available not earlier than 8-22-01 and must be requested in writing. It should be noted that unsuccessful bidders are required to return bid documents or be prepared to reimburse the VA for their cost. NAICS Code 235710 applies.
