Description

This acquisition is for Commercial Item/Services. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for collection and disposal of refuse generated at Rahtburn Lake Project Office, Centerville, IA. The period of performance is one base year, beginning 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002, plus (4) four one year options. The service period for Option Year I (FY03) is from 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003. The service period for Option Year II (FY04) is from 01 October 2003 through 30 September 2004. The service period for Option Year III (FY05) is from 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. The service period for Option Year IV (FY06) is from 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006. The government will award a contract from this request for proposals to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and past performance considered. This solicitation is open to both large and small business participation. The standard industrial code (SIC) is 4953. The NAIC code is 522111. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. The solicitation package shall be available on or about 13 August 2001.
