Description

Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision required to perform work for Project #550-01-108, Upgrade Main Oxygen Distribution System in buildings 58, 98, 101, 102, 103, and 104 at the Illiana Health Care System, Danville Medical Center, Danville, Illinois as required by the contract drawings and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, medical gas piping, electrical alarm system, landscaping, asphalt roadway work, concrete work, and certain other items in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. The construction cost range for this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System code is 235110. The solicitation documents will be available after August 24, 2001. All requests for bid packages shall be in writing addressed to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a $25.00 non-refundable bid fee made payable to Department of Veterans Affairs. There will be a pre-bid conference held at the Danville Medical Center in Danville, Illinois on September 12, 2001 at 10:00 a.m.(Central Standard Time) in Building 102, Room 116E.
