Description

F09609-01-Q-0005. This is a solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.3. The procurement is unrestricted and will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562219 with a size standard of $10.0M. The following nonpersonal services are required: provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to perform refuse collection services, to include delivery of containers, pickup, transportation, and exchanging of containers at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, (Marietta) Georgia, and Naval Air Station (NAS) Atlanta in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. The contractor shall obtain all required transportation permits and be responsible for compliance with all applicable OSHA, DOT, and State laws and regulations concerning transport of these refuse materials. The contractor must be fully licensed, state approved and insured for the required services. Services shall include, but are not limited to the following: delivery of refuse collection containers in the sizes specified to the locations identified, pickup of refuse in accordance with the Task Frequency List, Weighing and reporting weights of all containers at Dobbins ARB, and exchanging of the containers at the periods specified in the Statement of Work. A firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated for this procurement. Solicitation F09609-01-Q-0005 will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) on or about 20 August 2001 with receipt required on 14 September 2001. Any prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for any Department of Defense (DOD) contract award.
