- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES (ETS) FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (ISS) PROGRAM OFFICE, SOLICITATION NO. 9-BG-16-1-66P, which was posted on August 2, 2001. You are notified that the following changes are made: The Description of work is changed as follows: NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for Engineering and Technical Services (ETS) for the International Space Station (ISS) Program Office. These services will provide various technical, engineering, systems engineering, integration, management and administrative support for the International Space Station Program. This includes, but is not limited to, Web page development/maintenance, support for, and development of, management presentations, CoFR data integration, standardization of test methods and development of processes for CoFR, FCA/PCA, acceptance reviews, etc., technical oversight of CAD models, performance of trade studies, and development of various cost and technical evaluations. The work will also entail International Partner coordination such as tracking of H/W and S/W and technical oversight. The contractor will accomplish major technical tasks related to hardware integration control processes and integrated test and verification. Expertise shall be required, as appropriate, in the engineering software development and documentation functions. Management of major project/program reviews and panels will include all required planning, scheduling, statusing, and reporting for administrative and technical functions. The current contractual arrangement for this effort is with Muniz Engineering, an 8(a)firm, and is being performed at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The current contract expires on January 31, 2002. The RFO will contain the specifics of the required effort.
