Description
The National Institute on Aging, Gerontology Research Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the University of Miami, Department of Psychology, Behavioral Medicine Research Program, Dr. Neil Schneiderman, P. O. Box 248185, Coral Gables, FL 33124. The contractor will provide investigators with completed data analyses examining the extend to which scores in desirable personality factors, such as conscientiousness, moderate the effects of cbsm on (a) postulated mediators of distress (e.g. coping, social support) and (b) HAART adherence. The contractor will also assess the extent to which participants reporting high levels of less desirable traits, such as neuroticism, show less gains in quality of life and HAART adherence relative to participants reporting lower scores on this dimension.
