Description

The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis software support and updates for Matlab proprietary licenses from The MathWorks Inc., 24 Prime Park Way, Natick, MA 01760-1500. The MathWorks is the developer, designer and manufacturer of this software and holds proprietary rights in data in providing support of Matlab software. The NAICS Code is 541511 with a size standard of $18.0 million. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract for a 12-month period ending 30 September 2002. FOB destination shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number is N00178-01-Q-1049. Anticipated issuance date is 10 August 2001. Interested parties other than MathWorks must be able to demonstrate their capability to perform this effort in writing by 10 August 2001. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capabilities with their fax quote at (540) 653-7088, which shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100.
